Dr. Caleb M. Pilgrim is an accomplished attorney, scholar, and community leader who resides in Snellville, Georgia. He relocated from New Haven, Connecticut in the spring of 2014, bringing with him a distinguished career spanning law, academia, public service, and international engagement.

Dr. Pilgrim received his advanced education at some of the world’s most prestigious institutions. He earned his Doctorate in Politics, Law and International Relations from the University of Cambridge and is a graduate of The London School of Economics (LSE), Yale Law School, and the Hugh Wooding Law School (Legal Education Certificate), Trinidad and Tobago. His academic foundation reflects a deep and sustained engagement with law, governance, and global affairs.

He has served as an educator at both the international and university levels, teaching Politics and History at the University of London (Extra-Mural Department) and Political Science at Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU). In Barbados, he taught Public International Law and served as Director of the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Program at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, contributing significantly to legal education and conflict resolution in the Caribbean.

Dr. Pilgrim was Principal of The Law Offices of Caleb M. Pilgrim, LLC, where his legal practice encompassed Employment, Labor and Discrimination Law, Family Law, Veterans Law, and Personal Injury. He also served as Chair of the Legal Redress Committee of the Greater New Haven NAACP, advocating for justice, equity, and civil rights.

His commitment to faith-based leadership is equally notable. Dr. Pilgrim served as both Junior and Senior Warden at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in New Haven, Connecticut, taught Bible Studies, and represented the church at the New Haven Deanery and the Connecticut Annual Episcopal Conventions. He currently serves on the Vestry of St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church.

An experienced traveler, Dr. Pilgrim has visited numerous countries and resided in the United Kingdom for many years, enriching his global perspective. He is also a respected author, having published seminal scholarly works including “In Defense of the Partisans” in the Penn State Law Review and “Some Legal Aspects of Trade in the Natural Resources of Namibia” in the British Year Book of International Law.

In his personal time, Dr. Pilgrim enjoys traveling, boxing, reading, writing, watching documentaries, and listening to music across all genres. His life’s work reflects a rare combination of intellectual rigor, legal excellence, community service, and global insight.
